For our Wedding Breakfast, we chose the relaxed menu, where one guest at each table became the ‘chef.’ This was a huge hit with our guests, and the food was brilliant. After each course, the head waiter checked in with my wife and me to make sure everything was perfect—a lovely touch that didn’t go unnoticed.
One of the biggest reasons we chose Ashton Lodge was how inclusive and accommodating they were. Many venues we looked at only had space for one bride to get ready, but Ashton Lodge had no hesitation in allocating the Bridal Suite as a second dressing room so we could both have our own space. We didn’t want to see each other before the ceremony, and Natalie and her team made sure we didn’t. They handled everything so seamlessly that it felt like they had done this a thousand times before, which made us feel completely comfortable.
Our day was truly perfect, and we would highly recommend Ashton Lodge to any couple—straight or LGBTQ+—looking for a beautiful, welcoming venue to celebrate their special day. From start to finish, we felt incredibly well looked after.

Elizabeth & Tiffany HughesWe had our wonderful wedding at Plum Park Manor in October 24. It was an absolutely amazing day! We have had the best experience throughout the planning process and on the day everything was perfect.
Before the wedding we went to planning meetings, open days and tasting menus. This really allowed us to see the full beauty of the venue in different settings. The truth is though, we knew this was the place for us on the first time we visited!
On the actual wedding day Cherrelle kept everything running smoothly. Nothing felt rushed and we were able to enjoy every moment. The food was delicious both at the wedding breakfast and in the evening. The wood fired pizza was a total hit!
The venue is immaculate and we loved the new pavilion.
The morning after we were able to share breakfast with our closest family which was a beautiful way to finish our celebrations.
If you're looking for a wedding venue Plum Park is truly beautiful and the hosts are wonderful to deal with throughout. Thank you to Cherrelle, Claire, Jo, Rowan and everyone else who helped us celebrate.

We got married here in October and it was the best day we could have ever imagined. From the first time we viewed the venue to the very last minute the team were incredible. So helpful, let us have the wedding we had always imagined, and were there for us throughout any bumps along the way. Jess who planned everything with us and Vicky who was there for us on the day, I couldn't have wanted anyone else to help me and my wife plan and coordinate our wedding. They were just the best team.
The food? Wow, we are still getting compliments over a month later about how amazing the food was here. I can highly recommend the Cauliflower Daahl!!!!

We recently had our 'Christmas Wedding' at Milling Barn. From the first viewing we were blown away, we knew immediately that we had found where we wanted to get married.
The main barn is spectacular. Divided in to 2 sections (Dairy barn & Main barn) and need minimal decoration to look so beautiful. We chose the Relaxed Menu for our wedding breakfast, with it being a week before Christmas day, we went for Turkey! Nearly month on and we are still hearing from our guests about the food. It really was delicious! We had a very small party for the wedding breakfast so the relaxed menu was perfect for us, we were given 4 huge turkeys which we carved at the table by 3 guests of our choice, everyone LOVED this idea! Genius!
We were all ushered in to the Dairy barn whilst the main barn was set up for the evening entertainment and guests and the room was transformed. From start to finish, we had the best day thanks to Milling Barn, We're both so glad we got married here and if we had our day again, we wouldn't think twice, Milling Barn every time!

We recently had our wedding here in February
From the moment we first visited we knew that this venue was the one for us. The venue is just so pretty it doesn’t need loads of decorations.
We were assigned Niamh as our wedding planner and she was great from start to finish and especially on the day, they go above and beyond to make sure everything is exactly how you want it and make sure you’re at ease.
The day went seamlessly and it was everything we had wished for and more!The food was amazing and so was the breakfast in the morning.
The only downside was that the accommodation, some of the rooms didn’t have mugs and some essentials, none of the rooms had hot water in the taps and other than the honeymoon suit, all of the rooms have a green light that was so bright some of our guests couldn’t sleep.Overall we loved our wedding, we definitely chose the right venue for us and we want to do it all over again!
